Lady Rúnfríðr (Runa) Opisdottir
Deputy Chatelaine
- Award of Arms
10th Century Norse
Rúnfríðr, called “Runa” is the daughter of sturdy Norse stock. Her skill at the hearth is unremarkable, but, true to her namesake, she has learned to read and write. The tidy sum she earns inscribing home goods and reading the runes permits her to travel, earning her the distinction of being “inn vidforla” – far traveled.
