12th Century Welsh
Lucian descends from a line of Welsh warriors that desired service in Outremer to serve Christ in the Kingdom of Jerusalem to cleanse the sins of their ancestors that were brought about during the Saxon invasion of their home in Wales. Following his father’s footsteps in the Holy Land, he fought to uphold the name Marrok that his father had been titled by his Saracen foes. After the fall of Jerusalem, Lucian held on with other crusaders in Acre. They found them selves being immersed in Saracen culture. Lucian fell into forbidden love with a Saracen Lady and they left Outremer for their safety. Settling into the Shire of Vulpine Reach in the Kingdom of Meridies, he now enjoys heavy combat, rapier and studies of warfare. Lucian also spends considerable time learning Saracen culture.
