9th Century Carolingian Frank
Guntram is the 2nd son of Gunthar and Fredegund of Köln (Cologne). He spent his early days in the Cathedral in Aachen as a Greek scribe. He was then sent out to collect Greek and Latin texts throughout  Europe including Iona, Rome and Constantinople. After the death of his king Karl der Große (known later to some as Charlemagne) he left Aachen and found himself in the Shire of Vulpine Reach. Here he found Lady Elisabeth von Ravensburg, who claimed his heart. His has served the shire and the Kingdom of Meridies in all forms of heraldry, specifically in field heraldry. His good wife has given him instruction in sewing which he has put to good use making period garb and heraldic items.
