We welcome newcomers and visitors to all shire activities!

We meet every Monday at 6:30PM
at GraceWorks Church. The church is located at Lee Highway and Highway 153 in
Chattanooga, TN behind the old McKays Used Books. Look for the cross on the hill.
Click here for a map to our meeting location. Take I-75 to
the Highway 153 exit and immediately take the first exit to Lee Highway. Turn
right, proceed one-quarter mile and turn left at McKays. Proceed up the hill and
enter through the main doors under the canopy. Most meetings are held in the youth
room: follow the main hall and turn right, enter the room on the right before
the double door. Dance practice is held in the sanctuary, enter the double doors
on the far left-hand side of the lobby. Our shire members usually go out to eat
afterwards; if you can't make it to the meeting, give one of us a call and find
out where we're eating!
Business Meetings
The first Monday of each month is a short business meeting where we discuss
upcoming events and activities in the shire. Following the business portion of
the meetings, the meeting room remains open for shire members and newcomers to
work on projects and continue their discussions.
Dance Practice and Social Gathering
The second Monday of each month is our dance practice and social gathering. Come
learn the gracious art of late medieval and renaissance dancing, no prior experience
required! For the non-dancers of the shire, the rest of the sanctuary is open
for conversation and working on projects.
Arts and Sciences Night
The third Monday of each month is our arts and sciences night. Each we will host
a short class on a focus topic (such as fabric arts, performing arts, and so forth)
followed by open time for people to work on and discuss their arts and sciences
interests. The night's highlighted topic will be listed on our
shire calendar.
Mix Night
The fourth Monday of each month features different topics and activities
each month! Some nights we will work on garb and projects, some nights may be a
pot luck dinner, some may even feature Middle Eastern dance and target archery!

Practices
|
Practices are held weekly in both armored
and rapier combat. Newcomers and visitors from other groups are encouraged to join
us whenever possible and non-combatants are encouraged to come out to support our
fighters and enjoy spending time with one another! Both groups meet at the Chattanooga
Riverpark on Amnicola Hwy.

From I-75: Take exit 3 to
Hwy 153 and exit onto Amnicola Hwy just before the Chickamauga Dam. The Amnicola
Marsh section of the Riverpark is located approximately 3.5 miles from the exit
on your right across from the HCFD Training Center (the park entrance is
just past McDonalds and Burger King).
