News from Tourney of the Foxes

This year's Tourney of the Foxes was a tremendous success! Thank you to all the gentles who made their way to the riverbend and helped us celebrate our 30th anniversary! The atmosphere was filled with laughter, joy, and friendly competition all day long!

From the feast hall to the fighting field, members of our populace gave of their energy and time to help make this one of the best events in all of the kingdom! Thank you to those who volunteered your time during set-up and clean-up, at the field for waterbearing, marshalling, and heraldry, in the kitchen and hall during feast, and throughout the event assisting wherever needed.

Congratulations to the winners of our tournaments and to all who competed! A full list of winners shall be posted shortly. Special congratulations to Lady Aislinge MacCuithein of the Shire of Loch Cairn for becoming Meridies' newest Grand Chef! Huzzah!

A special thank you to the populace for making our newcomers feel right at home! Over the course of the event, we were visited by over 40 individuals whose first interaction with the Society was Tourney of the Foxes, and we received numerous reports of newcomers and families that had a wonderful time!

Numerous items were found by our event staff during and following the event. If you have misplaced something, please contact the autocrat so we can connect you with your items.

We would like to create a "Foxes Memories" page in honor of our 30th Anniversary. If you have any pictures, stories, comments, one-liners you heard from the next pavilion over, kudos to give to someone you fought against or that helped you out, or anything else to share from this year's Foxes, please send them to our webminister, Tobias, who will put them on the web!
