Activities and Events

There are many opportunities to get involved with the Shire of Vulpine Reach throughout the month!

Throughout the year, we host several local and regional events. These include:

Glad Tydings is our shire’s Twelfth Night gathering. Glad Tydings 2012 was held January 11-13, 2013 at Booker T. Washington Group Lodge in Chattanooga, TN. It’s a casual day of classes, arts and sciences activities, and revelry. While the event serves as an opportunity for our local shire to get together, we welcome our neighbors and friends to join us as well.

Our site opens at 5:00 PM on Friday the 11th and closes at 11:00 AM on Sunday the 13th. For more information, contact the Event Steward, THL Svana Mjobeina.

Tourney of the Foxes is our premiere melee combat tournament featuring teams of fighters on both the armored and rapier combat fields, archery challenges, and arts and sciences activities. Foxes 2013 will be held August 23-25, 2013. More information will be posted soon!

Silver Star brings the return of the Meridian Rapier Academy and the debut of the Silver Satire Performing Arts Collegium! This year’s Silver Star will be held March 22-24, 2013.

Shire Anniversary takes place in early October as a celebration of the founding of our shire on October 8, 1978.

Additionally, our shire hosts various workshops and regional practices throughout the year. Check back often to see what’s coming up in Vulpine Reach!
